Ouya Android game console delayed until June 25th
Ouya the Android games console has been delayed until June 25th to meet demand as Ouya announced a $15 million in additional funding to support developers and to meet that demand. The new funding comes from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Nvidia, Shasta Ventures, Mayfield and Occam Parters. In an interview with Ouya CEO Julie Uhrman, Polygon reports that the delay is to ensure that the company has enough units to "satisfy all the early orders," and to make sure they have enough stock before the public launch.
According to Joystiq, Ouya has also been listening to feedback on the design of its controller so have expanded the button holes to ensure that they no lo longer stick, which has been mentioned by some reviewers.
