Sony has unveiled the Sony Xperia Tablet S at IFA 2012. The tablet comes with a 9.4-inch IPS display (1280 x 800), Tegra 3 Chipset, SD slot, 64GB of built-in storage, a 6,000mAh battery, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Sony promises Jelly Bean as soon as it can optimise its own apps. The tablet comes in a unique folded style, just like Sony's Tablet S, and comes in at .35 and .48 inches thick, and weighs 1.26 pounds. Also like the Tablet S, it can be used as a universal remote.

A new app from Sony included with the device called 'Watch Now' allows for live television streaming, checking-in and commenting on Facebook and Twitter. Sony has also added a guest mode with allows for parental controls.

Sony is accepting pre-orders today and the tablet will be available on September 7th. Prices will start at $400 for the 16GB model, 32GB will be $500 and 64GB for $600. Optional extras include a keyboard case, a stand with USB adapter and HDMIT output, a dock speaker, cradle, and a carrying case.
