Nokia announces Lumia 820, Windows Phone 8, 4.3-inch display, microSD, exchangeable covers

After announcing the Lumia 920, Nokia has revealed the mid-range Lumia 820 smartphone. The device is powered by the same 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 as the 920 but comes with a smaller 4.3-inch display, 8GB of storage (which can be expanded via microSD), and a five-megapixel rear camera which is not using Nokia's "PureView" technology.

The Nokia 820 will bring back the nostalia with exchangeable covers, which will be available in a range of different colours. It will also support wireless charging like the 920, however a special cover will have to be purschased.

The phone will be available through AT&T and T-Mobile in the US, however pricing has yet to be confirmed.
