Nokia steps up PR, says they will dine on jelly beans tonight

Nokia has took a jab at Google's Android OS on Twitter today, saying "Today we will dine on Jellybeans", accompanied by an image of a Nokia Lumia handset with a bowl of jellybeans beside it. This is clearly a PR move in preparation for Nokia's Windows Phone 8 event, which will air today at 10 EDT. Nokia is set to announce brand new Nokia Lumia devices, which will likely be the 820 and 920 Windows Phone 8 devices which leaked in images over the last few days. An image of a charging pad also leaked online earlier in the week, revealing that both new Lumia devices will charge wirelessly. Nokia also teased wireless charging in a video yesterday.

Nokia and Microsoft are clearly hoping that they can make a dent in Android's large market share this time around.  You can watch the Nokia Windows Phone 8 event live right here.
