In a weird twist, users on XDA Developers forums have demonstrated that it's possible to force the LG Nexus 4 onto the LTE band 4 on Canadian carriers Telus and Rogers using the device's debugging menu. Last week it was reported the Nexus 4 does indeed have the transceiver and power amplifiers to support LTE, but would be down to OEMs whther to support it. Of course to get this to work for everyone across networks in many different countries would be a long complicated process and likely not worth the effort. Likely why Google doesn't officially support it. Check out the video below to see it in action.
