Today Instagram has been updated to version 3.2 and on iOS brings an "Instagram-themed" shutter and shutter release button, a preview of the most recent photos on your camera roll, an improved camera roll image selector for quick access to the last photograph you took (iPhone 5 only), Improved Tilt-Shift with more realistic rendering, an optional grid guide when shooting and a permanent grid guide for scaling and cropping. The app also has a new filter called Willow which has also come to the Android version of Instagram.
Willow is a monochrome filter with subtle purple tones and a translucent glowing white border. This filter works well on portraits, still life and architecture photographs with contrast.
Other additions include a a news feed redesign that's "easier to digest" with larger images,a new welcome screen, infinite scroll on user profiles and grid views, filtered photos that nw save to a separate album called Instagram on iOS and a Foursquare button on location pages that will open the Foursquare app or website with details about the venue.
