Polaroid has confirmed that it will soon launch a new interchangeable lens camera that will run Google's Android operating system. Talking to Imaging Resource, Scott Hardy, the president and CEO of Polaroid said "There will be an Android powered, interchangeable lens camera introduced by Polaroid at CES 2013, additional information and specs will be released during the show."

The camera is highly likely to be the much leaked IM1836 (pictured above), which if images are correct will feature a 18-megapixel sensor, 3.5-inch touchscreen, 10-30mm lens and WiFi.
