Google Keep note-taking app launches on Android and web

Google Keep is here, the note-taking app from the company, likely designed to take on Evernote. You can jot down ideas quickly, include checklists, photos, voice memos (which Keep transcrives) to track what's important. Google Keep will automatically keep everything safe in your Google Drive, which also syncs your notes to all of your devices.

On Android Google Keep includes a widget so you can note stuff quickly, you can also colour code each note too. You'll also be able to use the widget on your lock-screen if you have Android 4.2 and above.  You can find Google Keep on the Google Play store and on the web at http://drive.google.com/keep.
