On the six-year anniversary of the original iPhone, unveiled by Steve Jobs at Macworld 2007, Apple may reveal the iPhone 5S and the fifth-generation iPad at a special event called 'Original Passion, New Ideas', a name that suggests Apple may bring something to the table that we have yet to see. Could it be 'one more thing?'
The sources reportedly from Apple told Gizmorati that both devices will be shown off at the event taking place June 29, 2013, however no specifications of either have been revealed.
As well as what these sources claim, the latest rumours suggest that Apple could release a cheaper iPhone model made from lower cost materials to compete with low-end Android smartphones. Others have said that Apple's iPad 5 will take design inspiration from both the iPhone 5 and iPad mini, and that the company is preparing to release a second-generation iPad mini, with an analyst stating that the new model could ship with a 324ppi, 2048x1536 pixel display.
Additionally a smart-watch from Apple, known as the iWatch, has also been heavily rumoured with some sources claiming that Apple has a team of around 100 people working on it including iPad and iPhone engineers, software developers, managers and marketers.
