Google+ for Android has been updated to include some neat new features to put it inline with the web version. Photo improvements
Instant upload is now called Auto Backup which allows you to store photos as you take them, privately and safely. Auto Highlight allows you to browse a selection of top shots from every photo you have uploaded. Auto Enhance makes improvements to your images automatically, and Auto Awesome automatically creates animated images and panoramas based on your library.
To start using these features just start taking photos in the app then visit the Photos section. You'll be able to see Highlights, undo any auto enhancements and see any photos that have been "awesome'd."
The latest version improves the experience of sharing your location with your contacts. The new Locations section in the app will display your friends' current locations on a map, making it much easier to meet up with them. You'll always be in control of who sees what and it can also be completely turned off.
Coming directly from the web redesign you can now see related hashtags on posts that when clicked will surface more great relevant content right in your stream.
You can update Google+ or download it at Google Play. Be sure to let us know what you think in the comments.
