PS4 passes FCC certification

Sony's PlayStation 4 console has passed certification through the Federal Communications Commission, according to the FCC. This means the system is now approved for U.S. sale. The PlayStation 4 is expected to launch sometime this holiday for $399 in the US and £349 in the UK. The console comes with a single-chip custom processor, an x86/64 AMD Jaguar eight-core CPU, a 1.84 TFLOPS, AMD next-gen Radeon based graphics engine GPU, 8GB of GDDR5 RAM memory, and a 500GB hard drive.
