Just days after British supermarket Asda announced that they would no longer be selling Nintendo's Wii U console, Morrisons has announced it will also do the same. Just like Asda, Morrisons dropped the price of the console but didn't see much sales improvement. This shouldn't come as a surprise to those in the gaming world. Nintendo sold just 160,000 Wii U consoles last quarter, that's a 51% decrease from the previous quarter. Despite upcoming releases, the increased competition coming from Sony and Microsoft near Christmas is going to make it a massive task for Nintendo to get sales where they should be.
