Google's Chrome browser is storing user passwords for social media, email and web accounts in plain text, and anyone with access to your computer can go and view them directly from the settings panel, with no security in the way. chrome fail

By clicking 'Settings' > 'Show advanced settings...' > 'Manage saved passwords' you are given a list of saved password, you can then simply click show next to them to reveal the password.

Right now the only thing we can suggest is to not store saved passwords in Chrome at all if you share your computer, as Google's Chrome developer team, Justin Schuh, said he was aware and that there were no plans to change the system.
