Today at its special event Apple has announced its brand new iPad, and it's called the iPad Air. The new tablet now takes on the same design as the iPad mini and will replace the 10.1-inch iPad. The iPad Air is both thinner and lighter, features a much smaller bezel, which shrinks the footprint of the tablet without changing the screen size. Apple says the iPad Air is 20 percent thinner at only 7.5mm thick, and weighs only 1.0 pound.
The iPad Air features a 64-bit A7 processor and M7 motion coprocessor which are found in the iPhone 5S. It has a 5-megapixel iSight camera on the back and FaceTime HD camera on the front. You'll also get 10 hour battery life, and twice the data transfer rate on Wi-Fi.
