A Nissan Nismo vs. a windsuit, who will win? They wanted to find out, so in Susten Pass, Switzerland we see famous BASE jumper Dave Barlia in his windsuit go on a descent of 4,501 feet and reaching speeds of 130mph, go up against Peter Pyzera, Germany's 2012 Nissan GT Academy Champion in his 370Z Nissan Nismo car. Barlia has course advantage but Pyzera has the faster method, however he does have to tackle turns and twists.
Dave Barlia has 22 years of experience jumping and has had no accidents of injuries. He has jumped from bridges, cliffs, dams, buildings, cranes, helicopters, balloons and much more. He was the first person in the world to combine snowboarding and BASE jumping with an amazing snowboard jump off of cliffs in Norway and Switzerland. Barlia is also one of the few people in the world to ride a motorcycle into a BASE jump. So clearly he knows his stuff!
The Nissan 370Z features a 3.7L V6 engine, 350 horsepower (7,400 rpm) / 276 LB-FT, a 6-Speed Manual transmission, Rear-Wheel Drive, can do 0-60 in 5.3 seconds and starts at around $43,020, additional extras include a Bose four-speaker stereo system.. The 370Z Nismo has also had an aesthetic overhaul in this version, this time featuring contrasting theme on the mirrors, spoiler and wheels. The wheels feature Bridgestone Potenza S001 tires and according to reviews they offer lots of grip when cornering.
