Most tablets at the 8-inch size are built to compete with devices such as the iPad mini and Nexus 7, but Lenovo's ThinkPad 8 is a business tablet according to the company. The display is 8.3-inches and has a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, larger than most similar size tablets. It has micro-HDMI, an 8-megapixel camera with flash, and an aluminum chassis. In terms of specs the ThinkPad 8 has a Intel Z3770 quad-core Bay Trail processor, 2GB of RAM, up to 128GB of storage, and a 4G version. Lenovo says the battery life is eight hours so it should last around the same time as other 8-inch tablets. The ThinkPad 8 will be available later this month, in the US prices start at $399.
