By now you likely know that the iPhone sells well, really well and this year things have gone even better for Apple. The company has announced today that pre-orders for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have topped all previously set records, hitting 4 million sales in just the first twenty-four hours. In the press release, CEO Tim Cook said he's thrilled that customers love the new devices "as much as we do". Demand has exceeded the initial pre-order supply so if you're ordering now you'll likely have to wait a few weeks to get your hands on one.
iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be available in the US, UK Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore on September 19 and in 20 additional countries beginning on Friday, September 26 including Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey and United Arab Emirates.
