The iPhone 6 Plus has been getting a lot of coverage lately, mostly due to a handful of people reporting that the device has become bent from being in pants pockets. How much of a problem this is yet is still unknown as the only real proof is a guy bending it with his hands on purpose, which really isn't proof of a problem at all. Now iDevice warranty specialists SquareTrade have tested the device themselves, and while it isn't as tough as the iPhone 6 it did receive the title of most durable phone with a screen larger than five inches that they've ever tested. While the tests didn't include trying to bend the device, it does seem to generally hold up much better than other smartphones. As for the smaller iPhone 6, it out performed all previous iPhones and every other phone they've tested. It even survived ten seconds immersion in water thanks to new rubber gaskets around the volume buttons.
