LG is known for creating great displays and it's new 34-inch Ultrawide QHD monitor is yet another impressive piece of tech. I've honestly never understood the reason for curved televisions but I think curved monitors like this really do make sense. The LG 34UC97 QHD display comes in at a very wide 21:9 ratio and offers a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels, this means you're getting more screen space than two 16:9 Full HD resolution monitors. LG has engineered the 34UC97 to address concerns about colour inconsistency, the IPS panel offers wide viewing angles and prevents colour inconsistency on the corners that many displays can suffer from. Plus thanks to it's sharp detailing, vivid colours and curved design you really do feel immersed when playing games and watching movies.
The 34UC97 is also super useful if you need more ports or like to have a minimal desktop. On the back is LG's multi-port which allows you to plug in things such as cameras, speakers, printers and more. It features two Thunderbolt 2 ports, two HDMI ports, two USB 3.0 ports, and a Displayport. Pretty impressive by today's standards. Also if you're a Mac user things get better as not only is it fully compatible, it allows Mac users to enter a 4 screen split interface. Check out the new video from LG to take a closer look.
