The End of the Chinese Miracle: How cheap labour is coming to an end

Cheap labour in China has allowed companies to produce products for a much lower cost and allow consumers to purchase them for much lower prices, this has helped propel China's economy since the 1980's, but all that seems to slowly be coming to an end.

Increased prices for labour in China could mean that will all have to pay much more for things we buy. It's also very likely that the global economy will suffer and would potentially push another high populous country such as India be the "workshop to the world". The Financial Times investigates the reasons for this in the video below.
