Everyone loves free stuff, right? Well starting today Rdio is making streaming on the web free in the U.S. That means you’ll be able to listen to over 20 million songs and everything else Rdio has to offer for free if you live in the states. Of course most things free also come with some sort of cost, which in this situation is short ads that play every so often, much like Spotify’s free offering.
Of course the add-free option is still available for $9.99 a month for both mobile and web access. Stations remain free for everyone on mobile.
No word if free will come to any other parts of the globe yet, but we would expect that would be Rdio’s plan.
