Twitch is already super popular with console and PC gamers but soon you’ll be able to broadcast your mobile games via the site.
The company has just released a mobile software toolset that will allow devs to enable live broadcasting, capturing and archiving in Android and iOS apps. Features include chat, audio capture and options for finding similar game streams.
This move from Twitch isn’t surprising giving the ever evolving gaming market on mobile. People may not want to watch you playing word games but many ‘hardcore’ games exist on iOS and Android such as Final Fantasy, so a market definitely exists.
