Apple currently has two sizes of the iPad and according to Bloomberg they’re planning another. According to the report Apple is planning a 12.9-inch iPad which aligns with rumours that have previously said that Apple may be working on a larger version of the tablet. It also would fit into Apple’s plans for this year which includes two larger iPhones, replacing the 5S and 5C.
While we understand the need for a larger display iPhone we’re really struggling why Apple would be making a 12.9-inch tablet. Of course this could just be Apple testing things out in the lab and we may never see such a release, but if we do it’ll be interesting to see how well received it actually is.
