We almost thought we would never see any footage, but today Fox has released the first trailer for the new Fantastic Four, and it’s looking pretty good so far. Looking at the trailer it’s clear that this has a much darker tone than the previous movies, which isn’t that much of a surprise considering the director is Josh Trank, who made his name with the great found footage superhero movie Chronicle back in 2012.
The movie stars Miles Teller (Whiplash, The Spectacular Now), Kate Mara (House of Cards, Transcendence), Michael B. Jordan (Fruitvale Station, Chronicle), Jamie Bell (The Adventures of Tintin, Billy Elliot) and Toby Kebbell (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, RocknRolla) and is scheduled for release on 7 August 2015 in North America and 6 August 2015 in the UK.
